The Promenade Shops at Saucon Valley Changes Name to ‘Promenade Saucon Valley’
Lifestyle Shopping Center Drops the Word ‘Shops’ in Moniker to Reflect Expanding Tenant Mix and Evolving Focus on Becoming an Increasingly Popular Community Hub and Gathering Place
CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – April 15, 2024 – The Promenade Shops at Saucon Valley, an open-air lifestyle shopping center in Center Valley, Pennsylvania (www.promenadesauconvalley.com), today announced it has changed its name to “Promenade Saucon Valley.” The new name drops the word ‘Shops’ from its moniker to reflect the center’s expanding tenant mix and evolving focus on becoming an increasingly popular community hub and gathering place. The brand refresh also comes with a new color palette to be unveiled this month as well as a series of upgrades that include new soft seating in Town Square and at The Patio and breezeway; an upgrade to the gazebo; a freshly painted star at the pop jet fountain; shades over the outdoor amphitheater seating; and new property-wide signage upgrades coming in the fall.
“As guests shop or attend events at Promenade Saucon Valley this month, including our first-ever ‘Promenade on Wheels’ event on April 27th, they will quickly notice a number of important changes,” says Natalia Stezenko, senior general manager for the shopping center. “The center now features a new look and feel with vibrant new colors, a new logo, new awnings and furniture – as well as a new name that better reflects our unparalleled offerings, including a premier 16-screen movie theater, a grocery store, an elevated selection of restaurants, and a growing retail lineup with more new tenant announcements expected soon. As we continue to expand our tenant lineup and our very attractive calendar of community events, Promenade Saucon Valley is rapidly becoming known as the place to go in the Lehigh Valley for delightful experiences and unforgettable memories.”
Promenade Saucon Valley is located within the Stabler Corporate Center which was renamed “Stabler Pathways” in 2022 to better reflect the 1,000-acre campus’ interconnectedness via a series of sidewalks that lead to dozens of nearby businesses, including the Promenade Saucon Valley shopping center, Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Hospital, and Penn State University Lehigh Valley, as well as two hotels and a myriad of corporate employers. With the significant changes – from new tenants to exciting new events and experiences – that have recently taken place at Promenade Saucon Valley, now is the perfect time to shine a spotlight on the center’s role as a central community gathering space at the heart of this well-connected and easy-access mixed-use development.
An Expanding Tenant Lineup
Over the past year, Promenade Saucon Valley has added a number of coveted new tenants, including J.Crew Factory, The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill, Fulton Bank, Club Champion. It has also welcomed popular restaurant Turning Point as well as several local businesses that include FD Market, Lashes by Gab and Handmade Mystic. Additionally, the center has been incubating entrepreneurial new retailers through two creative programs both introduced in 2023: the Promenade Pop-Up Shop and Candy Cane Lane.
During the 2023 holiday season, Promenade Saucon Valley debuted Candy Cane Lane, a series of outdoor candy cane-themed sheds where local entrepreneurs can introduce the public to their brands for low-risk, short-term engagements ranging from a four-day weekend to the entire holiday season. Local winery Tolino Vineyards took advantage of this opportunity over the 2023 holiday season and will move to a longer-term engagement inside the Promenade Pop-Up Shop next month.
Through the Promenade Pop-Up Shop, a dedicated 1,500-square-foot space that encourages local entrepreneurs and established online brands to try out the brick-and-mortar world with a short-term lease, the center offers tenants a second low-cost, low-risk way to test the waters in a physical location while simultaneously expanding their brand awareness. The program also gives shoppers an ever-changing lineup of exclusive local retail brands and eclectic merchandise offered alongside their more traditional favorites. The center’s very first pop-up tenant, Sweet Diehl Boutique, a women’s fashion boutique founded by a local entrepreneur, had such success that it significantly extended its stay at Promenade Saucon Valley. Exciting Events Draw Attention from Guests
Promenade Saucon Valley has also recently introduced a number of successful and very creative events and experiences that have now become hallmarks of excellence for the center, including its popular Sip & Shop events which allow guests 21 and over to enjoy an alcoholic beverage while shopping at the center; Wonderland on Main, a family-friendly celebration of winter; and Barktoberfest, a dock-diving competition for energetic dogs, their owners, and enthusiastic onlookers.
When it comes to dogs, the center is extremely welcoming to its guests’ four-legged family members. In fact, Promenade Saucon Valley encourages shoppers to bring their leashed, well-mannered dogs to any common area as well as inside its lengthy list of dog-friendly stores, yet another reason the center has blossomed into a favorite place for spending time with friends and family.
